As I am cleaning all of this stuff, I am parting with a lot of it. Some of it, I am selling, some of it, I am giving away to people who need it.

Today I got rid of a set of bunk beds. Very nice ones, but my son no longer wants bunk beds, he wants a couch. Less stuff for me to move. I have been cleaning out closets, giving clothes away to local shelters and crisis pregnancy centers. I like doing that better than donating it to Goodwill or a thrit store because I know people need it and they don’t always have the money to go buy it, even from a thrift shop.

Another large item that I have been debating on whether to get rid of or not, is my treadmill and my eliptical machine. I say that I am going to use them and Lord knows, I need to use them, but for the last 3 years, they have sat in a storage building because I have had no place for them in my house.

But I am hoping with our new house, I will find a place or them. I know that if I can find a place for them, I will definitely use them. And I really need to use them.

The lastest thing that I have been working on is getting home insurance quotes. I never thought about it, but these people that I am getting quotes from are asking me give all of my auto and drivers license information too. Apparently, you can get cheaper home owners insurance if you couple it with your auto insurance. So now I am getting home insurance quotes as well as auto insurance quotes.

The good thing with all of this is that it forces me to get my auto insurance changed over too. And if I can save money at the same time, well, that is all the better.

That is it. All you do is say what you think. Lots of fun and it helps clear your mind and get the creative juices flowing again.

For those of you that are new to my blog and are not quite sure what I am talking about, let me explain. Consignment sales are a lot like yard sales.

The differences between consignment sales and yard sales is that consignment sales are indoors. There are also a lot more participants with a consignment sale. You have a lot more to choose from. You also have outside vendors that set up beautiful counter displays.

Consignment sales bring in a lot of business. It usually lasts 3 or 4 days. You can always look up in your town where the nearest consignment sales are.

It is not as much work as a yard sale, but you do make some pretty good money at the same time as you get rid of a lot of unwanted items that your kids have outgrown or don’t use anymore.

I love the fact that there are so many online programs to get you started in bettering your education. So many different fields that offer courses online too. I will be going into nursing but there are countless other that I have seen while doing my research. I know that when I was younger, I would have benefited greatly from some of these online courses like criminal justice, business administration, or health information technology degree.

I know that many online schools, like Northwestern College, make it super easy to get you started on the right path to further your education.

What an exciting time that we live in now that we can go to school in our pajamas. What would our great grandparents think if they knew that you can get an education while sitting at home?
