I have been having to do a lot of home repairs on my house lately. Not something that I really enjoy, but I did get a chance to go into one of my favorite stores today. Home Depot!
I need a new faucet and was looking at all the cool designs that are out there. Of course, being the great shopper that I am, I looked online first, but any excuse that I can use to go to Home Depot, well, that is the best!
I looked at all kinds of faucets including the Price Pfister. Now there are some pretty faucets.
I ended up settling on a cheap faucet just to get it replaced. No need in putting money into this house when I don’t plan on living here for much longer. Just needed a faucet to fix the broken one.
So that repair is done. Now I am still looking at a long list of more repairs to be done. Yuck!!!

Don’t you just love how when one thing breaks, it seems like everything else decides to break too.
I have been doing some home repairs to my house lately and I’m telling you, just when I think I have them all taken care of, BAM!!! something else breaks.
I have already had to get the roof patched form a bad water leak, then I had a pipe burst under my sink, fixed that. Then I get a letter from the water board saying that I used like an astronomical amount of water last month so I needed to look for a leak.
They were right, it was a leak. Got that fixed. My kids broke a window, replaced that. And now, I have to replace a faucet in the bathroom because it decided that it was time to break too.
ARRGGHH!!! I have a long list of things that need to be done, I didn’t need something else ‘popping’ up broken. Maybe by the time I fix everything that is wrong, I won’t need to move into a new house, because I will already have rebuilt this one!!!

I love Spring. Everything that has to do with Spring is wonderful. I love seeing the trees budding, the flowers blooming, new life emerging, it is just a beautiful time of the year.
Then there is Spring cleaning that usually comes along with Spring. I have done a lot of the cleaning already, but there is a building on my property that I have been meaning to clean out and just kept putting it off.
I decided to start tackling it this weekend. It is turning out to be just as bad as I thought it would be.
There is stuff in there that has been there for so many years. Stuff like old newspapers, paint cans, insulation, shingles, baseball trophies, (have no clue who’s they are) and old picture frames. And that was only in one corner of the building.
I will be having a yard sale to unload a lot of this stuff. Whatever I don’t sell or feel like selling I will find a charity that I can donate some of this stuff to. The rest of it is going in the trash.
I still have so much work to do, but the thing that keeps me going is that I will have my building back to store more of my good stuff. LOL.
