I have noticed something lately that has disturbed me quite a bit. And I am not talking about a little thing either. To me, it is a pretty big thing. I would love to know if anyone else is experiencing the same thing or not.
What am I talking about? Thinning hair!!! I am a woman of only 35 years, and my hair is so incredibly thin that it is borderline embarrassing. I had even made a joke to my husband that I need to get Rogaine for women or some other vitamins for hair.
Now, I have always had thin hair, but now it is so thin that if I were to lift my hair up, you can see my scalp all the way from the front to the back.
A good friend of mine has suggested that it could have something to do with the birth control that I am on, or it could have something to do with my thyroid. I don’t know what it is from. I just want it better.
Of course, time stills for no one, but to be losing my hair now? I think I am still too young. I guess I need to buckle down and try and figure this thing out while I still have some hair on my head! But I guess, worse case scenario, I could always go with a wig!

Lately, I have been blogging on some quick and easy ideas to help keep those extra, unwanted pounds off during the holidays that always seem to creep up on us when we aren’t paying attention.
You can find the first 2 suggestions at my early posts marked Holiday Dining and Holiday Dining 2.
Today I am going to briefly speak on something that none of us want to hear much less do. That is exercise.
Now I am not going to beat anyone over their head about sweating it out and killing yourself with exercise. But I will tell you that a little bit goes a long way.
The best time to exercise is in the morning. Do about 30 minutes, three times a week. It doesn’t really matter what you do. Whether it is aerobics, walking, running, using Kettlebells, strength training. or even playing on a Wii Fit! As long as you are doing something. That is the most important thing here.
Yes, it sucks, I know. But just doing a little will make such a huge difference, then you won’t have the feelings of guilt or feelings of having to get the weight off after the holidays.
Good luck!

I recently posted a blog discussing the holiday season and what you can do to help keep those unwanted pounds off during this busy season.
I am going to give you another suggestion to help with any diets you may or may not be on right now. Even if you are thinking of a diet, these suggestions may help you.
In the previous post, I discussed drinking water as part of helping to lose weight and to keep it off.
My next suggestion that may help you during these stressful times is this. Eat several small meals a day! Now during the holiday season, this may be a very easy thing for you because there always seems to be an abundance of food around.
Now when I say eat several small meals a day doesn’t mean you stuff yourself each time you eat. It means that you eat until you are satisfied! Then you stop.
Now I know this may be hard for some of us, but you can do it!
Doing the little things will help keep those extra holiday pounds from creeping up on you and still allow you to enjoy the season with your loved ones!

Well, the holidays are fast approaching. Faster than most of us want to admit or even want to prepare for.
Of course, once the holidays are here, our diets or even thoughts of diets will be out the window. We will eat and celebrate with our family and friends without giving another thought to any diet we may be on.
So how do we prevent gaining tons of pounds during the holiday season. What fat burners do we need to use to help with this battle that we seem to lose each holiday season?
I believe one of the things that help with this, is the consumption of water. Now I know, that if most folks are like me, you don’t drink enough in the winter time because, well, you are not sweating and burning the calories that you normally do in the summertime.
One thing that I have found helpful in triggering the water drinking response is a very simple trick. Now, most people charge for this advice, but I am going to give it to you for free.
The trick? Oh yes! The trick is brushing your teeth. That is right. I know it is simple. Were you looking for a rocket science response? You won’t get it from me!
Brushing your teeth makes you thirsting, so therefore it triggers you to drink water. It also does something else for you. It helps with those late night cravings that you may have. or a craving at anytime of the day really. Plus, your dentist will be really proud of you too.
Stay tuned for more tips and tricks for holiday dining and how you can help to keep those pounds off during the holidays. Good luck!

Well, I haven’t been as consistent as I need to be with my working out but I have been more consistent than usual, which is a great thing.
I have more pounds to loose than I would care to admit but I need to loose the extra weight that I have put on.
Don’t you just hate it when you find old pictures of yourself and you see how much thinner you were x number of years ago? I was looking through some old pictures recently and it made me sad to see how much I have really gained.
I just wish that someone would make a magic weight loss product that all you have to do is take a pill and you would loose all the weight you wanted to. But that would be too easy. Since there is no magic pill, I guess I am stuck with diet and exercise for now.
Well, the bright side of it all is that it is good for you to diet and exercise. And with the way the healthcare thing is going lately, you better make sure you take better care of yourself or it is going to be a bad thing!
