I have been doing a lot of thinking and praying about going back to school. I am interested in getting my degree in nursing and have heard a lot of great things about it.
Now that I have decided which field to go into, my next step is to decide the online school that I want to attend.
I have come across an online school by the name of Gonzaga University. After looking over their well-informed site, I have decided that this would be the online university for me.
The site is very easy to navigate and the school is an accredited, non-profit university that offers a lot of respected online master degrees. It has also been ranked one of the top universities in the West for 16 years by US News and World Report.
The school also offers financial aid for folks like me that would need a little help in order to go back to school.
In my own opinion, I think that Gonzaga University is an excellent online school that would provide anyone with a quality education and I would consider myself very fortunate to be able to graduate from there.

I have been getting things ready for a consignment sale that happens in my area where I live twice a year.
There are about 3 different ones that happen.
If you don’t know anything about consignments, allow me to give you a short, quick explanation!
Think of a yard sale but instead of making the signs yourself, getting tables, and sitting outside all day long, you just put tags on things you want to sell, drop them off at the consignment place, and when the sale is over, you pick up your check.
Now of course the people hosting the sale have to get paid to pay for the building rental and what not, so they make between 25-35% on your things that sell. It may sound like a lot at first, but when you think about how much work goes into these things, it is a price many people are willing and happy to pay!
I will be putting in clothes, toys, movies, and a few nic-nacs like the wrought iron candle sconces that I have had laying around forever.
The sale is super nice because all you have to do is clean, hang, and tag the items, and that is it.
There are a ton of people that shop at these things too. Earlier this year was my first time at one of these events and I must say I was shocked at the number of people that shopped there. I even picked up lots of good deals!
I am hoping that I can make some extra money and sell everything that I will be putting in there. Fingers crossed!

I am getting so excited. It is almost time for my kids to go back to school!!! YEAH!
Don’t get me wrong, I love my kids but having two teenagers under me 24/7….well, it SUCKS!!!
My son will be starting high school this year and I am nervous for him. He doesn’t understand how important high school is and how this is the beginning of his future. Of course, I don’t want to put too much pressure on him, but he is a teenager and well, we all know how those decisions are made.
I tried to encourage him to play sports but he doesn’t want to get involved in anything! Not soccer, football, basketball, track, NOTHING! He is a boy! Boys should be into sports or something, right? The crazy thing is that he isn’t really into anything at all. (except aggravating his sister and me)
Maybe this will be the year that he finds his ‘knack’. I can only hope.
My daughter will be going into 7th and unlike her brother, she wants to do EVERYTHING. I am trying to reign her in to choose one thing that she wants to do. That is easier said than done.We will just have to see how this school year plays out!
I am just happy that they are going back to school and that they will have the opportunity to learn.

Well, I haven’t been as consistent as I need to be with my working out but I have been more consistent than usual, which is a great thing.
I have more pounds to loose than I would care to admit but I need to loose the extra weight that I have put on.
Don’t you just hate it when you find old pictures of yourself and you see how much thinner you were x number of years ago? I was looking through some old pictures recently and it made me sad to see how much I have really gained.
I just wish that someone would make a magic weight loss product that all you have to do is take a pill and you would loose all the weight you wanted to. But that would be too easy. Since there is no magic pill, I guess I am stuck with diet and exercise for now.
Well, the bright side of it all is that it is good for you to diet and exercise. And with the way the healthcare thing is going lately, you better make sure you take better care of yourself or it is going to be a bad thing!
