What a weekend this was. Instead of going to the lake, having a picnic, or cooking out, I was in bed sick yesterday with a 24 hour bug.
My 12 year old was up half the night on Saturday night. She was throwing up and I was cleaning up. What fun!
Then, Sunday morning, my husband wakes up with an upset stomach. He was in and out of the bathroom for the entire day.
I felt fine. I kept him and my 12 year old secluded from me and my 22 month old daughter. We certainly didn’t want to get the yucky’s. So the baby and I hung out together all day and I waited on hubby and daughter, taking care of them.
My older daughter started feeling better around lunch but my hubby was still feeling pretty bad.
I got the girls to bed and decided to let my hubby out of the room and into the living room to watch some TV and hang out with him. BIG MISTAKE!!!
As we were sitting there on the couch watching TV, my stomach started feeling funny. Then I started getting the cold sweats. I thought to myself, oh boy, I hope I am not getting this mess.
Well, no luck. I got it. I was up all night long with it. It started around midnight and it kept going until 5am. Needless to say, I was in bed all day on Memorial Day.
you know when you are sick, you have no appetite at all. Talk about the best/worse fat burner out there. Get a really nasty stomach bug and you won’t want to eat anything.
WE are all feeling better now and I am glad. our stomachs are back to normal and everyone is eating normally too.
Hope everyone had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend. Thank you to our soldiers and their families for all the sacrafices that they make for us and our country in the name of freedom. God bless you.

For the first time ever, I watched a James Bond movie. Yes, it is true, I have never watched a Bond movie before.
As I was sitting there watching Bond, I got to thinking to myself at how much sexier he looked in his tuxedo and tuxedo shirts rather than in just the regular shirts.
So what makes a man look sexier in certain clothes over other clothes?
I think it has a lot to do with body type. Think about it. If a guy has a huge beer belly, you certainly don’t want to see him wearing a tight white t-shirt. Oh no, that just wouldn’t do. For guys like this, a nice polo type shirt works or anything that isn’t too tight.
For the older gentlemen, a nice button up shirt with a tie…well, that’s sexy. For the younger guys, dress nice. Don’t wear clothes that are 2 sizes too small or jeans that are 10 sizes to big. Women don’t find that attractive at all.
But, young or old, big or small, I think just about any man in a tuxedo looks good. This is a classic case of the clothes make the man!
A couple of hints to you guys out there. ‘Wife-beater’ shirts, cut offs, and see through shirts are out of style and look horrible on just about anyone no matter what body type or age!
Word to the wise!

I was recently in the Great Smokey Mountains on my honeymoon. We stayed on a mountain in between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. We had a wonderful time there, the mountains were beautiful and the people were great! While we were there, we took advantage of the great trolley system they had. One of the stops on the trolley route was a resort called the Westgate. It was very impressive and very expensive looking, so I began thinking about who, in today’s economy could afford vacations at these elaborate resorts such as the Westgate.
I discovered an article in Entrepreneur Magazine entitled, “Lucrative opportunities in a down economy?” It explained the hottest trends, etc… It said basically that the baby boomers who have driven the market for the last 50 yrs or so are still driving it. For example, in the 50’s baby products like diapers and toys were selling like crazy. In 60’s and 70’s schools were built to educate them. In the 80’s and 90’s construction/real estate boomed in efforts to house them. Now the “Boomers” are aging and the number one concern is their health. The article also said that home- based businesses which are network or relational marketing are doing very well.
So I started doing some research on good companies that are home-based, network marketing and in the health and wellness industry with a great compensation plan and a great support/management team. That’s when I found Monavie! Monavie is a great product, it is a super-nutritional fruit juice blend which has a patent process in which the acai berry is the main ingredient. Although there are several acai beverages on the market, only Monavie has a patent process where all the nutrients are saved in the process from harvest to delivery. Most other processes lose 30% to 70% of the antioxidants from the acai in their process.
Not only have I heard personal testimonies of how drinking Monavie has changed peoples lives through improved health but I’ve heard how its setting many people financially free so they can have both the time to be with their families as much as they need and the money to afford what they never could have before, like vacations and staying at luxurious resorts like the Westgate!
So, if your looking for a good opportunity in today’s economy, they are out there, I’ve found one, I hope you do too!
If you want to check out Monavie here’s a link for you: https://www.mymonavie.com/ForYourHealth77/
Whatever you do I wish you good fortune and success both with finances and health!

Well, my daughter’s birthday is coming up in a couple of weeks and I am at a total loss on what to get her for her birthday.
She is hitting one of those big milestones and I would like to make it special for her. She will be 13 on June 24th.
Ok, I am speaking to all those parents out there that have experienced this. What the heck do I do for her birthday? I would like to make it special but really have no clue.
Her aunt came and spent a week here with her and her sister, and she totally redid her room. My sister painted the room and drew murals on the wall and put up those peel & stick stickers. Imagine my shock and surprise when I came home and saw that. It was beautiful. And my daughter loved it. It has even helped her to have the motivation to keep her room clean.
That still leaves me clueless on what to do or get for her for her birthday. Do I get her iPods, cell phone, big party, what???
I remember for my 13th birthday, my mom got me an electric razor and a sapphire ring. Which I still have the ring. Maybe that is what I will get her, a nice birthstone ring.
I still welcome any ideas.

Is there really a ‘best diet pill’ out there? Ask yourself, what is the best diet pills?
When you go into Walmart or any health food store, you see 50 million choices there. (well, not quite that many) But how do you choose what you need to take?
I don’t think that there are any pills out there that have that magic potion that when you take it, you will loose the weight you want to loose.
I believe it is a combination of several things. You need to watch what you eat, exercise, & then you can use something to boost your metabolism or energy or whatever you need.
I shudder to think that people actually think that they can loose weight by eating fried foods, junk food, sweets, or whatever, then pop a magic pill, and they loose the weight. WRONG!!! It doesn’t work like that. It never has. Think about it, if there was such a pill, we would ALL know about it and it would cost alot of money because the demand would be so high for it.
You do have to eat right. Like getting your recommened daily fruits and vegetables. (I actually do have a secret remedy for that…click here to see it)You do have to exercise.Even doing something as simple as walking 15-30 minutes a day would make a dramatic difference in your weight.
Once you have implemented diet and exercise, then you could look for that diet pill that will help to boost your weight loss program.
Good luck to you all!
