My little angel, who most of you know is 10 1/2 months old now, has got one heck of an arm!
You may be scratching your head, but it is true. I started noticing it a couple of months ago when she discovered how to throw things.
Now don’t get me wrong, she doesn’t do it out of meanness, she just thinks it is funny. She throws food when she is done with it, she throws balls, which is her favorite, she throws toys, and basically whatever she can get her cute little hands on.
Like I said, she doesn’t do it because she is mean or naughty or anything like that, I think she does it because she likes to see things fly through the air.
Well, today it caught up with her me in a major way. She is always playing with my cellphone. She likes to look at it and push the buttons on the front to make it light up.
Well, as you probably have already guessed it, she threw it. Yep…it went sailing. Grew wings for about 3 seconds and flew. When it landed, I guess it landed wrong because it broke in half! It is a flip phone, or it was a flip phone, and it broke completely in half.
So, I am now looking for a new cell phone. I am not sure of what I want yet. Any suggestions would be great and very welcomed. I am in the Verizon network and I would like to have a camera with my phone. So, any ideas would be so awesome.
Oh, and I will be sure I try to get my angel to stick to throwing balls from now on!

Man, I am so late on doing this this week. I have been in such a fog lately that I feel so lost. I am trying to snap out of it by getting back into some of my usual activities, but I just can’t seem to get back into the grove of things.

My kids and I spent Memorial Day at the lake. What a wonderful way to celebrate such a meaningful day.
We had an absolute blast. The kids played in the water while I watched from the shore.
My little angel (10 1/2 months old now) got to wear her swimsuit for the very first time. Man, where is the camera when I need one. (I forgot to bring it a long) Of course, she had her little ’swimmers’ diaper/pull-ups on. Those things are so awesome.
I lathered her down in sunscreen, put a hat on her, and sat her on the towel. Of course, she had other plans. She didn’t want anything to do with sitting ‘pretty’ on a towel and playing with shovels and buckets. Oh no! She wanted to get in the mushy stuff. The sand and the water combined.
Oh, it was just too cute. She crawled down to the waters edge and got so nasty with all the sand and water, but she had so much fun. She would look back at me and give me the biggest grin in the world.
The older kids took turns taking her in the water and letting her play. To her, it was like a huge bathtub and she loved it. She played for a good 2 hours before she got tired enough to want her nap.
Needless to say, I will be spending lots of time at the lake this summer. I just have to remember sunscreen for myself. I got burnt!
